Radio right now sounds so bad that when I can’t find a CD in my car I listen to a bible-thumping preacher for entertainment, just so I don’t have to hear from another band that thinks Led Zeppelin and Nirvana are everything you need to know about rock.

Frank Navetta, the founding guitarist for hardcore legends, the Descendents, died on Halloween. Navetta’s guitar style, which weaved punk, surf, and hardcore and rock styles into a unique tapestry, helped define the sound of a generation.

It has come to my attention that there has been talk of a Led Zeppelin reunion of sorts. Though I was at first overjoyed by these rumors, I was quickly thrown into a state of mild panic and confusion when I further read that this “reunion” would not include Robert Plant.
