So Very Vinyl: Illustrations for Crate Diggers and DJsBy
Stefan Glerum
The resurgence of vinyl is still going strong, gaining steam in fact. From collectors digging deep for that obscure gem to DJ’s spinning and scratching in clubs and homes across the world, the warm sound of vinyl is a welcome alternative to the sterility of MP3s. Amsterdam based artist, Stefan Glerum, has brilliantly captured this “vinyl culture” in his vivid illustrations. Page one features a series entitled “Everybody Wants to be a DJ.” Pages two and three features reprints from an earlier series called “Crate Digging: Don’t Do It.” Enjoy!
