Have you heard of Truth On Earth? They are a social action band that write and sing about heavy issues. They are a group of 3 young sisters that have devoted their lives to making a difference. Their song on poverty is called Starvation Diet. Their site is Truthonearthband.com Some lyrics:
“Better heed this warning of our time – Losing cultures dying on the vine
Need an economic plan in place – So we don’t destroy the human race
Just take this last breath and bottle it up – you’ll need it later with your hand and cup
