About G. Wigler
Greg Wigler, a graduate of California’s Elsinore Union High School’s class of 1967 (though he missed the momentous occasion due to his attendance at the Monterey Pop Festival) has been taking photographs most of his life. Specializing in rock concert photography for a number of years (U2, Kansas, Roger McGuinn, Barry McGuire, B.J.Thomas, Andrae Crouch, etc.) Greg has been a contributing photographer to magazines such as CCM, Rolling Stone, Uncut, Uncut Legends #3, Blender, 5280, Q, Spin, The Denver Post, The Rocky Mountain News, and books such as “Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music” and “A New Song” by Paul Baker. Greg is now happily busy shooting daily for his many clients after supplementing his photography income as a remodeling contractor in Riverside, California, for a number of years. Since obtaining his first 35 mm camera in 1971 from a returning Vietnam War veteran, G. Wigler has been on a life long journey of self teaching in the photographic world. Eight years involvement in concert photography in the Denver area, gave him the mega-opportunity to shoot for various musical artists, magazines and record companies. The images from U2’s Red Rocks performance have been published in various rock music magazines including Rolling Stone, Blender and Uncut. Greg’s involvement in the music industry also led to his touring with various bands as a photographer, a merchandise manager and a road manger, including a three week tour of Europe which included the Greenbelt Festival in England and three tours of the United States. Many of Greg’s photographic images, including some of his best known album and cd covers, are available for viewing at his online gallery, along with some other things of interest, at his website gwigler.com.

Notice how the title assumes U2 is legendary. Only time will tell, but I’m betting that they don’t stand the test of time. Jacob Grossi said:

Well, considering they’ve been going strong for 30 years, I think time is speaking pretty clearly, KFL. Phil E. Drifter said:
