Sorry Carrie… unfortunately, commercial radio of today is not like that in the 90s– as you well know. Kudos on mommyhood! And, thanks for spinning my favs back in the day. :)

Hey!! I am in radio (ok..temp. retired to be a mommy)……COMMERCIAL RADIO…..and I resent that statement!! LOL!

I truly remember spinning the heck out of Candlebox “Far Behind” (was that the only one that made the charts???)back in like 95…and I forgot about Spacehog!! Total “One Hit Wonder”….spun that one, too, for its short-lived life. Loved the ending of Better Than Ezra’s tune “Good”: “YEAH, YEAH, that’s right!”.

Too funny since I just wrote a post trashing XM, but I haven’t listened to the 90’s station yet. I’ll give it a try. I would say we should remember Oasis and the Verve.

Very True. I love beautiful instrumentals from the FM Stereo stations of the 1960’s that are long gone. So I have started a FREE and VIP Subscription station at LIVE365.com and perhaps you could mention it in your writings.
