A few days ago I wrote a column (more like a tirade) called Rock and Roll Kvetch in which I lamented the sad state of attending rock concerts at nightclubs. I complained about obnoxious fans who disrupt the shows with their loud talking and heckling and club owners who don’t seem to care to do anything about it. I cited a few examples of musicians who have gotten really pissed off at these inconsiderate (and often drunk) bad apples, even stopping performances midstream to vent their frustration or to confront the offenders. Well, add Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age to that growing list of disgruntled rockers. This past weekend during a set at the Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo, an under-the-weather Homme went ballistic after a fan threw a bottle at him. His tirade is unlike any I’ve seen before, and while the content was way over the top (and even offensive), it’s hard not to sympathize with him. I mean, would you want a hard glass object hurled at you while you’re trying to work (or ever)?

Okay, here’s the link to the infamous meltdown. Warning: this is RATED R and is not for the faint of heart. Strictly 18+
